About the Owners

Dani

Dog lover, cat lady, equestrian, nature enthusiast, and always covered in fur and slobber! She's worked with dogs and other creatures in quite a few different avenues since her teens resulting in over 16 years of professional pet care experience and has always known pet-care was her calling. As a junior and senior in high school, she was involved in a technical pre-vet and animal science program which kickstarted that love and has since worked as a pet sitter and dog walker in the beautiful state of Colorado, has gotten comfortable with her canine body language deciphering while working at a popular Long Island New York dog daycare and boarding hotel, has gotten her hands dirty(Then clean!) as a full service dog groomer, has been certified in pet dog obedience training, has been professionally pet CPR certified and ran her own dog walking and pet sitting business very successfully for years up north before moving to Virginia. Her next adventure is starting her Bachelors of science in spring of 2025 at OSU, focusing on Zoology and eventually attaining her masters in animal behavior. Dani loves what she does, and couldn't be more grateful.

Seth

Seth is Dani's husband, love of her life, business partner and the resident cat whisperer. Although Seth grew up with pets, he really got involved head first with learning the ins and outs of pet care when he met Dani and learned she was a package deal with her 3 cats. A decade and a plethora of misfit creatures later, Seth can accurately claim the title of "worlds best pet-dad". He is the tall, smiling face you'll see occasionally running the front desk, being our tech guy, or giving our cat guests some love!

The Beginning

three oaks pet resort

Dani and Seth Took over Three Oaks in June of 2020, continuing the legacy of professional pet care started in 2008 by Jessica Bristol and her family. They both are grateful to continue the tradition of professional pet care in Farmville started by Jessica and her passion for pets! We wouldn’t be here without her spark.
